You asked and we delivered. Casa Burgers was tied with another restaurant for the Reader’s Choice selection. Casa Burgers is located in front of the old Newnan Hospital before you get into downtown Newnan. The outside of the building does not match up with what is happening on the inside. You walk in, and you think you have gone back in time to a 1950s diner. The floor is black and white tile, and the tables are stainless steel. The wait staff is extremely friendly and have great recommendations.

The burgers are served on old (themed/not real) newspaper clippings which adds to the uniqueness of this restaurant. I know this is a burger restaurant, but the honey lemon wings are some of the best wings I have ever eaten. They were crispy and drizzled with honey and just enough lemon pepper. I also tried the fried pickles. While the batter was good, they were a little greasy. The waitress recommended the black jack burger.

I ordered mine “medium,” and it was cooked to order with a slightly pink center throughout. The black jack burger was not overly seasoned, just salty enough for the pepper jack cheese to provide a little heat. The other burger I tried was the San Francisco burger

The San Fran burger was served on Cheesy Sourdough bread with crispy bacon and, yes, swiss cheese. The burger patty’s not being as big as the bread was a little disappointing. Burgers are served with chips or potato salad. Stay away from the potato salad. Fries have to be ordered separately. Onion rings are not traditional onion rings, but instead are a basket of onion straws. The onion straws were well seasoned and enough for two to share. Overall, they serve a great burger, and I will go back. The only complaint is that the burger patty is a little small. $$ 4.2 out of 5 – Casa Burgers is located at 98 Jackson Street in Newnan.
